With a distinctive sound and style, reggae artiste Jesse Royal stays true to character in his latest music video for Rich Forever, featuring dancehall’s richest-sounding voice — fan-favourite lyricist Vybz Kartel. It’s the third release off his forthcoming sophomore album Royal distributed by Easy Star Records. “The song is a conversation about the restoration of our royalty, reclaiming dignity. We must always be our brother’s keeper, and you don’t leave your brother in the mud. You remind your brother of who he is, not who they tell him to be, not who he sometimes might want to be.
