G.C. Foster College and Mico University have advanced to the intercollegiate men's Division One football final following semi-final wins last Friday at the University of Technology.

Mico, seeking a second title this season after capturing the Greg Garrell KO recently, clipped Exed Community College 2-1, while it was easy pickings for G.C. Foster College. In a one-sided affair, they whipped University of West Indies 4-0.

In the Mico/Exed clash, former Calabar High Man-ning Cup player Shane Franklin scored in the third minute to give Mico the lead.

Exed, however, drew level in the 34th minute when Andrew Reid scored from close range. The teams were locked at 1-1 at half-time.

Mico dominated in the second half, and Franklin scored his second goal of the match to clinch victory in the 71st minute.

In the other encounter, which was played simultaneously, 2012 champions G.C. Foster College got their goals from Damari MCalla (3rd) and Hannel Burrell (18th) for a 2-0 half-time lead.

The winners dominated the second half, and goals from Mavel Grant (71st) and Bryan Jones (89th) completed the emphatic victory.
