All Correct to win Bob Mayall

Following his second-place finish to UPPA TUNE in the fast-run Chairman's Trophy over 1500 metres for grade-one horses on March 28, the much vastly improved ALL CORRECT is tipped to defy topweight in today's open allowance feature over a mile for the L.R. 'Bob' Mayall Memorial Trophy.

The race has attracted seven starters. In addition to ALL CORRECT, others expected to provide keen competition are his stable-companion HOVER CRAFT, FRANFIELD along with the 2014 derby and St. Leger winner RELAMPAGO, now better for his recent pipe-opener behind RAGING PROSPECT over this trip on April 11.

However, on the strength of their performances this season, the Wayne DaCosta-trained ALL CORRECT stands out even with topweight of 57.0kg, having won two of his four races this season, beginning with the Ash Wednesday Trophy over 1300 metres in overnight company on February 18.

The six-year-old gelding by Storm Craft out of Royal Pizzaz followed up on March 7 with a decisive 21/2 length victory over then favourite FRANFIELD in the Bonnie Blue Flag Trophy over 1820 metres in open allowance company. Oddly enough, his best effort was recorded in defeat in the Chairman's Trophy.

ALL CORRECT stayed on well for second six lengths adrift of UPPA TUNE behind the smart time of 1:31.0. Now dropped in class to vie for his trophy, he should confirm his superiority over the Richard Azan-trained FRANFIELD.
