Western Bureau:

Cooper's Pen FC will be on a high, as will Clarks Town, when the two best teams in Trelawny meet just under two weeks to decide who will be champions of the Trelawny FA Monymusk Rum Major League for the 2014-15 season.

Both clubs dispatched strong opponents in their return-leg semi-finals on Sunday at the Elliston Wakeland Centre.

Cooper's Pen booked their ticket to the final with a 5-4 penalty-kick victory after ending regulation and extra time locked at 1-1 against Harmony FC. The teams entered the clash tied 1-1 from the first leg.

Harmony were unlucky to concede in the 5th minute, when Valbert Campbell fired into the goal from just inside the area. But Cooper's Pen, widely regarded as the best club in the league, struck back to even things up from a Ricardo James strike in the 37th minute.

Neither team could find the breakthrough in the half-hour-extra playing time.

Alanso Bird, the Coopers Pen goalkeeper, was the hero, saving Harmony's third spot kick to effectively deny them success.

Clark's Town beat Spicey Hill 5-2 on aggregate in the second semi-final after a 2-2 draw in the second leg.
