Western Bureau:

Derailed in their last game out on Tuesday in a 1-0 loss to BB Coke, St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) will be seeking a return to winning ways in the ISSA/FLOW daCosta Cup, when they host Newell High in Santa Cruz.

STETHS are in an unfamiliar position, fourth in Group E and need a win to recover lost ground to leaders Lacovia High (10 points). BB Coke, with that stunning win over STETHS on Tuesday, are on seven points and second in Group E, with the former champions locked on four points with Maggotty High.

Newell are languishing at the foot of the table and should be easy pickings, but a guarded Omar Wedderburn, the STETHS coach, knows full well that it's a tough group and nothing can be taken for granted.

"As I keep saying, it is a very competitive group and we will just have to raise our game and play a high level of football," Wedderburn said.

Lacovia, meanwhile, will host Munro with the hope of extending their lead. Munro are on four points, after picking up a first win of the campaign 2-1 over Newell in Tuesday's round, and BB Coke's new-found confidence will be tested when they tackle Maggotty.

undefeated teams

Petersfield High are sailing away in Group D with nine points and are odds-on favourites to defeat Little London today. Godfrey Stewart, now second in the group, should also take full points at Maud McLeod's expense.

Manchester High remain one of a handful of undefeated teams and could easily make it five wins in five matches when they travel to Winston Jones High in Group F. They sit nicely on 12 points. Their opponents, Winston Jones, are in last place on a single point.

Still in Group F, second place team Mile Gully (seven points) will have second-from-bottom Belair as guests, while fourth meets third in DeCarteret College and Cross Keys.

Over in Group J, Islington High (10 points) put their unbeaten record on the line against Tacky High. Annotto Bay, in second, will be tested by St Mary Technical while Brimmervale take on third place St Mary High.
