Jamaica Badminton Association elects new executive

Newly-elected president of the Jamaica Badminton Association (JBA), Courtney Henry promised to continue to develop the sport here through the Shuttle Time programme that was initiated by the Badminton World Federation.
Henry was voted JBA president at the annual general meeting and election of officers last Friday at the Jamaica Olympic Association offices.
"I have been involved with the sport for quite awhile as chairman of the school league. We will continue to push the Shuttle Time programme available for young students at the Primary and Preparatory schools level," Henry told The Gleaner yesterday.
The members of the JBA executive, who will serve a two-year term, are Courtney Henry, president; Linly Reynolds, first vice-president; Nicole Case, second vice-president; Antonio Bell, general secretary; Sally Chung-Rowe, treasurer. The council members include Andre Wiltshire, Sean Rennis, Kemar Valentine and Barbara Johnson.
