FOOTBALL: PLCA waiting on match report to decide on sanctioning MoBay United

General Manager of the Premier League Clubs Association (PLCA), Andrew Price, says his administration is now awaiting the match report to decide whether sanctions will be laid against Montego Bay United for arriving late for yesterday's Red Stripe Premier League final against Portmore United.
The match, which was played at the Catherine Hall Stadium, began 15-minutes late after Montego Bay United arrived at the venue just seven minutes before kick-off time.
Price says the PLCA will assess the report and determine what type of sanction, if any, will be brought against Montego Bay.

Members of the Montego Bay team arrived in full black in protest of the organiser's decision to change the time of the game from 8:30 to 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
Montego Bay's president, Orville Powell, had threatened to pull his team from the final if the organisers did not change the start time.
Montego Bay defeated Portmore 2-1 in yesterday's final.
