Broomfield resigns as JaBA president

Jamaica Basketball Association (JaBA) president Dr Mark Broomfield has resigned from the role, saying that it has become difficult to carry out his duties effectively because of time constraints.
Broomfield, who had been in the role since January 2015, announced the decision yesterday, but it is understood that JaBA officials had expected the resignation for some time.
