Hillel pair look to defend individual and team sporting clay titles

Defending individual champions, Roman Tavares-Finson and Isabelle Chin will be aiming to defend their respective crowns at the ATL Inter Schools Sports Clay Challenge at the Jamaica Skeet club in Portmore, St Catherine tomorrow starting at 10.am.

The male and female champions of 2016 will also be gunning to ensure that Hillel Academy successfully defend their title.

However, the two Hillel Academy students are expected to face very tough competition from a very strong field featuring some of the island's top talents.

Meanwhile, a record 14 schools will be participating in this year's championships, with three news schools in Munro College, Glenmuir High and Ardenne High school down to make their debuts.

Competitors will compete in over 50 targets. At the end of the preliminary round, the shooters with the top six scores will go into a shoot-off to determine the respective male and female winners.
