UPDATE: Ja Scorpions 135 for three at lunch against Windwards

A stroke-filled half-century from opener John Campbell has put Jamaica Scorpions in a favourable position against Windward Islands Volcanoes at lunch on the second day of their Cricket West Indies/Digicel Four-day Championship at Sabina Park.

Resuming on 43 without loss, the Scorpions are currently 135 for three at lunch.

Campbell, who was 37 overnight, went on to compile 71, while the not out batsmen at the moment are Brandon King, 12, and Paul Palmer, three.

Opener Trevon Griffith 37 and Assad Fudadin, four, are the other batsman to be dismissed.

The Windwards in their first innings were dismissed for 200.

Jamaica are seeking their second win in five outings, while the Windwards are seeking their first.
