A delegation from the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), including president Michael Ricketts, is currently in Panama preparing to announce a new contract with British kit makers Umbro tomorrow.

It is understood that Umbro, with its new sponsorship, will provide jerseys and other equipment for all men's and women's national teams at all age groups. The signing will be broadcast by the JFF via its social media pages.

The new deal means that the Federation's current partnership with Dubai based kit makers Romai comes to an end. That sponsorship, which was made official in July 2015, was worth around $680 million.

Umbro currently provides jerseys for Peru and Serbia, who will feature in next summer's FIFA World Cup in Russia. The brand also sponsors Jamaica's fellow CONCACAF teams Canada, El Salvador and Guatemala. It is also the official kit maker for English Premier League clubs AFC Bournemouth, Everton FC, West Ham United and Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
