Holder's five wickets ensure Windies take day two against Bangladesh

Fast bowling all-rounder Jason Holder produced a third career five-wicket haul on day two of the second and final Test against Bangladesh, to put the Windies in firm control of the match.

Bowling his characteristically steady line and length and at a pace that troubled the Bangladeshis, Holder picked up five for 44 as Bangladesh, in reply to the Windies' first innings total of 354, were dismissed for 149.

This provided the regional side with a lead of 205 runs, and batting a second time, they closed on 19 for one, an overall lead of 244. Opener Devon Smith, eight, and nightwatchman Keemo Paul, zero, are the not out batsmen. 

Holder, who claimed his second five wicket haul against Sri Lanka recently, was best supported by fellow speedsters Shannon Gabriel, two for 19, and debutant Paul, two for 25.

Experienced opener Tamin Iqbal, with 47, captain Shakib Al Hasan, 32, and Mushfiqur Rahim, 24, made the most runs for the visitors.

The Windies are seeking to win and wrap up the series after winning the opening Test in Antigua last week.
