Jamaican swimming ace Alia Atkinson swam to a gold medal in the 100m breaststroke at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia on Friday.
Atkinson stopped the clock in a Games Record 1:06.83 to win ahead of Mexican pair Byanca Rodriguez, 1:07.80 and Esther Gonzales, 1:10.60.
Shortly before, Atkinson was a member of the country's Mixed Medley 4x100m relay team that finished fifth in 4:01.90.
The team was completed by Keanan Dols, Luke Gunning and Emily MacDonald. Mexico got the win in 3:49.61 ahead of Colombia, 3:50.40 and Venezuela, 3:53.58.
