Mico dominate Intercol netball

THE Mico University College's dominance in Intercol netball continued this year as the institution secured three titles as the season came to an end in mid-week. Both the senior and Intermediate 'A' teams retained their titles, while the Intermediate team regained their title after losing out last year.

Mico 'A' defeated GC Foster College 'A' at home on Wednesday in a 63-48 scoreline for their fifth win in a row, meaning they remained unbeaten and won their fifth consecutive senior title. The following day at The Northern Caribbean University, Mico 'B' had a close 39-37 win over GC Foster College 'C' to keep hold of their title. The Mico 'C'' team proved too good for Church's Teachers' College in Intermediate 'B' action, winning 34-18. On the day, there was also success for Trench Town Polytechnic, who got the better of the College of Agriculture, Science and Education 17-15 in the junior final.
