The 32nd staging of the Bell/Ziadie Memorial Football Matches will be played on Monday at Winchester Park at 2:30 p.m.

This year’s four-team tournament will be played in a round-robin format and will see St George’s Invitational, Masters and Celebrities, Entertainers Invitational, and Christian Ambassadors matching strides.

Organiser of the event Clive ‘Busy’ Campbell said he is looking forward to a very successful event.

“I am expecting a lot of people to turn out to see former national player and coach Carl Brown being honoured, along with former FIFA referee Courtney Campbell and Nicholas Ziadie, son of Dennis Ziadie,” he said.

Campbell said that all proceeds from the event will go towards assisting basic schools in the Franklin Town, Rollington Town, and Vineyard Town areas.

“We are hoping to have a good day because we will be having some of the kids from two of the basic schools that we will be donating to there at the event,” he said.

Tony Curtis, Lukie D, Agent Sasco, Wayne Marshall, and Christopher Martin are expected to suit up for that Entertainers Invitational.

Former national 400m record holder Jermaine Gonzales, Waterhouse FC head coach Marcel Gayle, UWI FC head coach Andrew Peart, and Boys’ Town midfielder Michael Campbell are down to compete for the Masters and Celebrities.

Tickets for adults is $500 while tickets for children over 12 years old cost $100, and those under 12 have free admission.
