St Catherine High have advanced to the ISSA Walker Cup final after defeating St George's College 5-4 on penalties in their semi-final match at Stadium East today.

Joel Palmer scored the winning penalty for St Catherine, calmly finishing past George's goalkeeper Orville Smikle in the fifth round of the shoot-out, after the game ended 1-1 in regulation time.

Chantomoi Taylor gave St George's the lead in the 40th minute but St Catherine found the equaliser in the 63rd through a brilliant one time finish from Jevaughn Cole.

St Catherine will face the winner of today's other semi-final between Excelsior High and Camperdown High, in the final next Friday.
