Thompson-Herah defeats Fraser-Pryce in Hungary

Elaine Thompson-Herah defeated rival and former MVP Track Club teammate Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce over 100m at the Gyulai István Memorial in Hungary on Tuesday morning.
Thompson-Herah, who finished third to Fraser-Pryce at the National Senior Championships in the 100 and 200m finals over a week ago, clocked 10.71 seconds for victory today. Fraser-Pryce was second in 10.82 seconds.
Both sprinters will take part in the women's 100m sprint event at the Tokyo Olympics starting on Friday, July 30.
