Vashaun Vascianna brought Jamaica's medal tally to four at the World Athletics U20 Championship in the Men's 110m (99cm) Hurdles final in Nairobi, Kenya on Saturday.
Vascianna, formerly of St Jago High School, now of Kingston College, ran a personal best (PB) time of 13.25 seconds to take the silver medal.
He finished behind France's Sasha Zhoya, who clocked a World U20 record of 12.72 seconds. The bronze went to Poland's Jakub Szymański in a PB 13.43s.
Vascianna's silver adds to Jamaica's two gold by Tina Clayton in the Women's 100m on Friday, and Ackera Nugent in the Women's 100m Hurdles earlier on Saturday, and Kavian Kerr's bronze in the Men's Long Jump final on Friday.
