The Government has granted the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) approval for a limited number of fully vaccinated spectators to attend the FIFA World Cup qualifying game against the United States at the National Stadium, in Kingston on November 16.

Local Government Minister Desmond McKenzie told the RJRGLEANER Group on Thursday night after a meeting with local officials and the JFF. The announcement reverses the decision on Wednesday to stage the game behind closed doors. He said that approximately 5,000 spectators will be allowed to attend the game.

McKenzie said that the final details regarding the procedures, with the necessary protocols that will be required for the game, will be announced on Monday.
