Mona High School defeated Kingston Technical High School 5-0 in the ISSA Walker Cup semifinals on Friday to book their place in their first-ever final.

Romario Thomas netted a brilliant brace in the first half to give the Craig Butler-coached team a 2-0 lead at halftime.

He opened the scoring after 27 minutes with a torrid strike from the edge of the area and two minutes before the break, beat goalkeeper Kerron Grant with an even more vicious strike from 25 yards.

Six minutes after the interval, Robino Gordon headed in the third to put the game beyond reach.

Keneldo Brown (54th) scored the fourth and Damoi Whitfield (73rd) sealed the win 17 minutes from the end.

Mona will meet either St Catherine or Excelsior in the final.
