Cavalier put in a spirited performance to defeat Montego Bay United 3-0 in their Jamaica Premier League (JPL) encounter at the Drax Hall Sports Complex on Monday.

Former Kingston College player Dwayne Atkinson opened the scoring for the Kingston-based Cavalier in the 59th minute after which Kenroy Campbell doubled the lead in the 78th minute.

Two minutes later, Ronaldo Webster sealed the deal for Rudolph Speid’s men to ensure that Cavalier move up to fifth in the standings on 12 points.

The loss now condemns Montego Bay United to the bottom of the 12-team table on goal difference with four points.
