Triple jumper Kimberly Williams produced a season's best 14.62 metres to bag a bronze medal at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade, Serbia on Sunday.

Jamaica's medal total at the championships is now two after Stephenie Ann McPherson's bronze in the women's 400 metres.

The triple jump event was highlighted by a World Indoor Record by Venezuela's Yulimar Rojas. Rojas, the Olympic and World Outdoor Championships winner, broke her own World record of 15.43m on her final attempt with a huge mark of 15.74m. Ukraine's Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk took silver with a personal best 14.74m.

Jamaica's other individual competitor in the day's first session, Olympic 110m hurdles bronze medallist Ronald Levy, failed to advance to the semi-finals of the men's 60m hurdles after finishing fifth in his heat in a season's best 7.75 seconds. The heat was won in 7.55 by Frenchman Wilhem Belocian.

Jamaica will be hoping for a relay medal in Sunday's women's 4x400m final. The quartet of Roneisha McGregor, Janieve Russell, Tiffany James Rose and Junelle Bromfield finished second in their heat in 3:30.91 to advance to the final which is set for 1:55 p.m. Jamaica time.

The United States are the fastest qualifiers after winning their heat in 3:28.82.
