Monday night football will return to its regular slot this weekend at Sabina Park, the Professional Football Jamaica Limited (PFJL) announced today.

According to a PFJL release, games on Saturday and Sunday will be played at Drax Hall in St Ann, however, on Monday, the two matches will be played at Sabina Park, where league leaders, Waterhouse and third place and high-flying Arnett Gardens will meet in the feature game at 9.00.pm.

Monday night football is very popular among spectators and the local television audience but PFJL chairman Christopher Williams said patrons in the stands should still expect an entertaining weekend.

"At all our games this week expect prizes and surprises from our sponsors. We urge them [fans] to come out early and in their numbers to support their favourite team.

"The return of Monday night football is a special occasion and we invite patrons to avoid the after-work traffic and come to Sabina Park," he said.
