#Carifta2022 | Peart, Campbell into Girls U17 800 final

Jamaica's Andrene Peart and Ricaria Campbell have both advanced to the final of the Girls Under 17 800m at the Carifta Games in Kingston on Sunday.
Peart, who placed fourth in the Girls Under 17 1500m final on Saturday night, qualified with a time of 2:15.79 minutes in her first-round heat, which was the second-fastest time among the field. Campbell clocked 2:20.06 to also book a place in the final on Monday.
Girls Under 17 1500m champion Attoya Harvey of Guyana qualified with the fastest time, 2:15.76.
