#Carifta2022 | Jamaica's McDonald, Cunningham complete high jump one-two

Jamaica began the final day of the 2022 Carifta Games on inside the National Stadium with a one-two finish in the Girls Under 20 High Jump.

Annishka McDonald led won the event with a height of 1.75 metres, while her teammate Malaika Cunningham, cleared the bar at 1.70 to hold on to silver.

Ahsharean Enoe of Grenada took bronze with 1.65. Enoe passed at 1.60, cleared 1.65 at the first time of asking, but failed at 1.70.

That series meant the Bahamas' Shaunece Miller would finish just off the podium after her clearance of 1.65, achieved on her third attempt, left her short on countback.
