Jamaica to face Champions, Mexico for place in 2023 World Cup
Jamaica's path to the 2023 Women's World Cup will not be easy after the final round of the Concacaf Women's Championship was announced earlier this evening.
The Reggae Girlz were drawn in Group A with World champions, the United States, Mexico and Haiti.
Olympic champions Canada were drawn in Group B with Costa Rica, Panama and Trinidad and Tobago.
The final round will begin in July in Mexico where the top two teams from each group will qualify automatically for the 2023 Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, while the third-placed teams will contest a continental playoff.
The final round will also be used to determine the two qualifying spots for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Jamaica are seeking back-to-back World Cup appearances after their historic qualification in 2019.
