Reggae Girlz coach goes with the tried and proven

INTERIM SENIOR women's head coach Lorne Donaldson released the final 24-person squad for the Concacaf Women's Championship which starts next week Monday in Monterrey, Mexico.

The squad consists of 13 players that were a part of the 2019 Women's World Cup team, including Manchester City's Khadija Shaw, Florida State University's Jody Brown, FC Gintra's Trudi Carter and Kansas City Current's Sydney Schneider. However, Tiffany Cameron, who had a strong season in Hungary, has been left out of the squad.

Former Liverpool defender Jade Bailey, as well as new Tottenham Hotspur signing Drew Spence, is among the England-based contingent selected for the squad.

The team is currently en route to Monterrey to begin final preparations for Monday's opening Group A game against host nation Mexico.
