EUGENE, Oregon:
Sprinter Jelani Walker has been medically cleared to join the Jamaica camp at the World Athletic Championships here in Eugene.
Walker was under observation by the medical team after initially testing positive for COVID-19 on Monday.
Liason Officer Dennis Gordon confirmed to The Gleaner that he has since had two negative tests for the virus and the medical team was satisfied with his progress.
He joined the camp this afternoon.
