Vere United secured their sixth draw in the Jamaica Premier League (JPL), following a 0-0 stalemate against newcomers Chapelton Maroons this afternoon at the Wembley Centre of Excellence.

With head coach Linval Dixon missing from the sidelines due to illness, his former Reggae Boy teammate Paul Young looked over proceedings, however, his presence could not lead Vere to victory as they hosted coach Lenworth Hyde and their Clarendon neighbours.

In other early games played today, Faulkland secured their second point of the campaign following a 2-2 draw with Molynes United.

Enrique Gordon notched a double while Jason Wright also grabbed a brace for Molynes United.

Dunbeholden scored two second-half goals to beat Montego Bay United 2-0, while Tivoli Gardens and Portmore United played to a 0-0 draw.
