A double strike from Orane Watson and a goal each from Jahmani Bell and Ashton Gordon carried the young Reggae Boyz to a comfortable 4-2 win over Cuba in their opening Group G Concacaf Men's Under-17 Championship encounter in Guatemala.

The Jamaicans looked more purposeful in attack and took the lead through Bell in the 22nd minute to go into the break with a 1-0 advantage.

The Merron Gordon-coached Boyz then stepped up the tempo in the second half and got a second goal when Watson finished off from close range in the 56th minute.

Substitute Ashton Gordon made it 3-0 for the Jamaicans in the 70th minute before Watson sealed his double in the 75th minute.

Cuba hit back with a quick double by Didier Reinoso in the 78th and 89th minutes to make it a nervous final couple of minutes for the Jamaicans.
