Vere holds Tivoli to goalless draw

Tivoli Gardens and Vere United played to a 0-0 draw in their Jamaica Premier League fixture this afternoon at the Jamaica College Ashenheim stadium.

Vere played with 10 men from the 52nd minute as Alwin Strachan was sent off in the 52nd minute.

Vere remain in 12th place but move to 14 points, while Tivoli Gardens are now tied with Montego Bay United on 17 points, but stand at ninth in the table on account of a better goal difference.
