JAMAICA’S OPENING Under-20 Concacaf Women’s Championship group game against Canada was postponed last night because of inclement weather.

The match at the Estadio Felix Sanchez in the Dominican Republic was scheduled for a 3 p.m. kick-off yesterday, but heavy rain, resulting in a waterlogged field, led to a three-hour delay.

With conditions not improving, the decision was made to postpone the fixture, as well as the second game of the double-header between The United States and Panama.

Up to press time, Concacaf had yet to announce a new schedule.
