Russell gives Cavalier JPL semifinal advantage

Orlando Russell's 49th-minute goal gave Cavalier a 1-0 advantage after today's Jamaica Premier League (JPL) first-leg semifinal against defending champions, Harbour View, at Sabina Park.

After a cagey, scoreless first half, Russell got the game's only goal when he tapped home a cross from six yards, not long after the start of the second half.

The league's top scorer, Colin Anderson, had a great chance to add another but failed to connect cleanly after being put through on goal.
