Life in Group B of the Concacaf Nations League A did not start beautifully for the Reggae Boyz, but it did start perfectly.

After a game of misplaced passes and numerous yellow cards, the Reggae Boyz still managed to be the only team in Group B to come away with a win, Courtesy of Demarai Gray’s 64th-minute goal against Honduras inside the National Stadium earlier tonight.

Gray was played through by Bobby Reid, and the former Everton man made no mistake, going for a mixture of power and placement to notch the lone strike.

Earlier this week Gray inked a four-year deal said to be worth €10 million with Saudi Arabia club Al-Ettifaq.

The result leaves the Reggae Boyz top of the group on three points, with Haiti and Cuba, who played to a 0-0 draw today, as well as Suriname and Grenada, who had the same result following closely behind.

Honduras are at the foot of the table without a point and a negative goal difference.

The Jamaicans will next face Haiti on Tuesday inside the National Stadium.
