Hungarian boxer Jozsef ‘The Gladiator’ Darmos is being touted as Ricardo ‘Big 12’ Brown’s biggest challenge to date, with the two set to meet tonight at the Pickering Casino Resort in Pickering, Canada.

However, Brown who has a 9-0 record and has stopped all his opponents before three rounds, is promising another knockout as he looks to end the year on a high.

“I am ready for it,” the Canadian-based boxer told The Gleaner. “So I am going to go out and do what I always do. I am going out to put in the work and get the win. Every fight is different, but he is going to get knocked out.”

Darmos has a record of 14 wins, six losses and three draws and is the most experienced fighter Brown will face. He has won 10 of his fights by knockouts.

Brown said he would not be underestimating what the Hungarian can do and admitted he will approach this fight a bit more cautious although he declared that the end result will be the same.

“I don’t think this guys is too tough for me. I am going to stop him, that is all I see. I have seen that he likes to throw the over hand, right or left. So I am just going to keep my distance and just box him and see when he gets tired I’ll knock him out,” he stated.

Preparation went well for the fighter, who said he is in top shape after just concluding a training camp, where he got some quality sparring sessions, which has been an major issue in the past.

“I am feeling good. I just came off a camp last week and it was good. I was looking good in training camp. I also got some good sparring work last week in Victoria.

“So everything is ready. It is just to go out and do the job. I want to end this year with a nice performance so the people will have a good show. I will give them their money’s worth,” he commented.
