The Reggae Boyz have been drawn in Group E after the preliminary draw for the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers earlier today in Zurich, Switzerland.

Jamaica will be joined in Group E by Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Dominica and the winner of a playoff match between the US Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands.

The draw, which featured former Reggae Boy Ricardo Gardner, was conducted by Chief Tournament Officer Manolo Zubiria with the assistance of FIFA Legends’ Paulo Wanchope.

The second round of the qualifiers will run from June this year until June next year. Each team will play two matches at home and two away, where the top two teams from each group will advance to the third round of qualifiers.

With the 2026 World Cup being the first edition to include 48 teams, expanded from 32 teams, Concacaf has been allocated six automatic spots, with two inter-continental play-off spots.

Host nations United States of America, Mexico and Canada are already filling three automatic spots, and the Reggae Boyz will be aiming for the remaining three automatic qualifying spots up for grabs when they start their campaign in June.
