Hydel High School's Zavien Bernard clears the high jump bar on her way to breaking the girls' Class 2 record at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships inside the National Stadium.

Hydel’s Zavien Bernard was in record-breaking form, erasing Shantae Freeman's Class 3 high jump record at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships inside the National Stadium today.

Feeman's 1.80 metres was eclipsed by Bernard's 1.83 with her first attempt at the new height.

The mark saw Bernard getting the better of St. Catherine’s Gabrilla Treasure, who cleared 1.68.

Immaculate’s Grace-Ann Bailey took the bronze medal with a clearance of 1.65.
