Jamaica College's Kemarrio Bygrave displays confidence after winning his heat in the boys' Class 1 800 metres at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships inside the National Stadium this evening.

Jamaica College’s Kemarrio Bygrave, seems to have recovered from a wire-to-wire fight in the boys' Class 1 1500-metre where he was just edged to gold by Kingston College's Brian Kiprop, booking a spot in the semi-finals 800 metres as the fastest qualifier.

The JC captain, seeking to wrest the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls ' Athletics Championships title from Kingston College, clocked 1 minute, 57.97 seconds to win the days first heat inside the National Stadium this evening and qualify with the event's fastest time.

Port Antonio’s Ainsley Brown, 1:58.93, to win heat four, and heat six winner, Joaqueem Miller of St. Elizabeth Technical, are the other top qualifiers to the semi-final.
