STRONG MIND, ridden by Reyan Lewis, wins the Miss Ruth Trophy race over 6-1/2 furlongs at Caymanas Park on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

RIDEALLDAY, impressive in victory when debuting at five and a half furlongs on Mouttet Mile Day, squares off with fellow American, UNSPUN, a winner of two races, for Saturday’s Dye Job Sprint, Race 4, Series 3, of the BGLC-TOBA Millionaires Series.

The fancied pair are among four two-year-old foreigners in the five-horse field eligible for a $1 million BGLC-TOBA bonus in addition to the winner’s purse of $1.128 million.

Sold by the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association of Jamaica, by private treaty,as one of 10 Canadian fillies purchased under the Jamaica Racing Commission’s Thoroughbred Stimulus Fund, debutante MISS CONTENT automatically qualifies for the $1 million bonus.

However, UNSPUN, UNRULY MO and RIDEALLDAY were made eligible via the $150,000 eligibility route that has, so far, handsomely rewarded six Millionaires Series winners with $9 million in BGLC-TOBA bonuses in addition to winners’ purses.

UNSPUN’s connections not only hope to topple favourite RIDEALLDAY but are aiming to have their runner become the first to earn $3 million in BGLC-TOBA bonuses after landing the November 30 Mr Sensational, which had a $2 million carryover.

Following up on his almost nine-length win of his previous race at six furlongs, far-striding UNSPUN bullied his way between DANKA and LOVISA a furlong and a half out to reel in BURNING HEDGE approaching the final half-furlong.

Whereas the seven-furlong Mr Sensational was tailor-made for UNSPUN (Spun To Run-U Needa Ride), who proved he was a cutabove local rivals, tackling RIDEALLDAY will be a different kettle of fish.

RIDEALLDAY (Vekoma-Song of Hours) won pulling a train on Mouttet Mile Day, clocking an impressive 1:06.1 for five and a half furlongs on a relatively good track. With the surface running fast for the last two meets, RIDEALLDAY is set to put the field to the sword.

UNRULY MO (Outwork-Snakeinthegrass), a grandson of 2016 Wood Memorial winner, Uncle Mo, who passed at age 16 last Thursday, led RIDEALLDAY for two furlongs and even longer in the Mr Sensational against UNSPUN.

Blessed with early speed, UNRULY MO will again try making all but was outclassed by UNSPUN and RIDEALLDAY in back-to-back races.
