Voxpop - Would you pursue agriculture/agribusiness as a career or business option?
Tracy-ann Hines, merchandiser:
"Definitely, yes. In Jamaica, agriculture is big business, because there are not many people in farming, and you would make a profit if you have the right market, especially the export market and so forth."
Oshane Leon, student, Caribbean Maritime Institute:
"Yes. Because it is an area that many people do not gravitate towards, so there is less competition and if you have the right tools and resources, you can make lots of money."
Vivian James, bartender:
"Yes, because it is a good thing to do to develop yourself, your community and the country, too."
George Finnikin, landscaper:
"Yes. Because people have to eat food; they will always need food, so once you are producing the things they need, you will always make a decent living."
