George Floyd protesters rally across America

One protester was seen using spray paint to write #Love on the CNN sign and others were also seen writing on the sign.

Thousands of 'Black Lives Matter' protesters rallied in honour of George Floyd across several US cities Friday night.

Floyd died Memorial Day while in the custody of the Minneapolis police.

For several minutes, Floyd, while handcuffed, was pinned to the ground by a cop kneeling on his neck.

In Atlanta, protesters mounted the CNN sign at the network's headquarters in Georgia.

One protester was seen using spray paint to write #Love on the sign and others were also seen writing on the sign.

Protesters also torched an American flag outside CNN Centre in Atlanta and broke the glass near the entrance of the centre.

There were protests in several other American states:

California: Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland, San Francisco 

Colorado: Denver  

Georgia: Atlanta

Illinois: Chicago

Iowa: Des Moines

Indiana: Indianapolis, Fort Wayne 

Kentucky: Louisville
