Access to beaches

The Editor, Sir:

I've travelled to many places, one of which was Hawaii. There the beaches there are open to the public. No hotel can deny access to natives.

Jamaica needs to declare the entire coastline a national park to allow Jamaicans access to their Caribbean sea. The explosion of hotels along the coast has made it difficult for many Jamaicans to enjoy their island's beaches.
