Nestlé promotes fitness and health
The Nestlé Fitness Cereal promotion is new and geared to help you to recover and regain good health. The new cereal is Nestlé Fitness Fruits.
Launched at the Loshusan Supermarket in Barbican, St Andrew, last Friday, the promotion is about shopping with a difference. Each pack of the product bought guarantees one of two exercise videos (Bodyvive and Bodybalance) to maintain good shape and health. There is a free video in all the marked boxes of Fitness and Fruits cereals. Last year, people around the globe got the exclusive Bodyjam and Bodycombat DVDs from the same fitness programme that came with a pack of Nestlé Fitness cereal.
At the launch, members of the Jamaica Fitness Association, headed by founder and Director Karelle Jones, demonstrated a number of the exercise routines on the videos with members of the public just outside the store. The Bodyvive video was also being shown on plasma television sets at strategic locations.
Shoppers inside the store and at sampling stations could also watch the action on plasma TV sets.
What is Nestlé Fitness cereal?
Nestlé Fitness Cereal is made of wholewheat, corn and rice.
It contains 10 vitamins and minerals, including iron and calcium, and is targeted at health-conscious women on the go. Calcium is increasingly important to prevent the high rates of osteoporosis while iron prevents fatigue and dizziness. The cereal comes in wholegrain wheat flakes that aid digestion. Nestlé Fitness is quick and easy to prepare on busy mornings and a convenient, nutritious and energy-boosting breakfast, low in fat.
It is a rich source of fibre, and contains antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and complex carbohydrates and all of these act together to help protect the body against diseases.
What is whole grain?
Most grain-based products have part of the grain removed during the milling or refining process. The term 'whole grain' therefore means that all parts of the grain are retained during processing.
So, if you want to leave behind all the effects of the holiday overindulgence, try Fitness for breakfast and look for your free video and work out with your favourite routine.
