UWI, PIOJ to host seminar at Mona

The Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) and the University of the West Indies (UWI) will tomorrow hold a joint seminar presentation on the Jamaican economy and the implications of the International Monetary Fund Agreement.

The seminar, which will commence at 6 p.m., will take place at the multi-functional room at the main library of the UWI, Mona Campus.

Four eminent speakers will address the seminar. They are Dr Christine Clarke, director of Economic Planning and Research at the PIOJ; Dr Darron Thomas, assistant lecturer at the Department of Economics; Colin Bullock, former financial secretary and lecturer at the Department of Econo-mics; and Dr Adrian Stokes, senior investment manger at the Jamaica Money Market Brokers.
