Diana Stewart, chairman of the Errol Flynn Benefit Ball, held on Saturday, November 13, has expressed heartfelt thanks to the numerous sponsors of the annual ball which was staged on the scenic Ken Wright Pier at the Errol Flynn Marina. The theme for the evening was 'A Night at the Oscars'.

This year, proceeds will go towards the Portland Rehabilitation Centre and Homeless Shelter, chaired by Dr Paul Rhodes.

Patrice Wymore Flynn, widow of the legendary swashbuckler Errol, was patron of the event. She was recognised with an award for her achievements, both as an actress and for her contributions to promoting Jamaica and Portland.

Mrs Flynn and her team are in the process of creating The Patrice Wymore and Errol Flynn Foundation, which will benefit the people of Portland.
