An abominable crime

The Editor, Sir:

The burning of the Mt Carey Baptist Church shows just how evil some persons in our society have become. Alongside the intentional burning of the Holy Bible, there is perhaps no act of arson worse than the burning of a chapel.

Though part of the history of this landmark building has gone up in flames, I hope that the chapel will once again be resurrected to its former glory and that the person, or persons, responsible for this abominable crime will be brought to justice.
