Why Ian Fleming?

THE EDITOR, Sir:

WHY HAVE we forsaken our own and named the Boscobel Aerodrome after a foreigner? Why have we not considered naming it after any of the Jamaicans responsible for the past and future development of the area, for example, the Issas, Stewarts, Chris Blackwell, the custos (Bobby Pottinger) and, as a last resort, the member of parliament (Robert Montague) for the area or the minister of tourism (Ed Bartlett).

I am, etc.,
