WESTERN BUREAU:

The three men charged with the July 2011 shooting death of a Westgate Hills, Montego Bay, resident will return to court on November 1, at which time the ballistic report is expected to be on file.

Harold Jackson, Jovan Myrie, and Keygan Petgrave are accused of Christopher Eccleston's murder which occurred about 10 p.m. on July 1, 2011, in the community of the deceased.

Eccleston was allegedly killed and another man injured when they were attacked and shot by gunmen. The accused men were arrested and charged following investigations by the Mount Salem police.

During a court appearance on Monday, Resident Magistrate Sandria Wong-Small was informed that the ballistic report had still not been obtained for the prosecution's case file, and that it would not be available before October.

Wong-Small consequently set the case for mention on November 1, and all three defendants' bails was extended until then.
