WESTERN BUREAU:A Trelawny man who allegedly robbed a woman of $100,000 was offered bail in the same amount when he returned to the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

Alton Doemanm, a 32-year-old resident of Falmouth Gardens, pleaded not guilty to simple larceny against complainant, Crystal Williams.

The details of the allegations were not outlined in court, but the incident was allegedly committed on July 7.

Doeman is booked to return to court on September 13.

The prosecution told the court that surveillance footage is to be checked and brought into evidence to build its case against Doeman.

Resident Magistrate Sandria Wong-Small offered him bail in the sum of $100,000 with two sureties, and ordered him to submit his fingerprints to the police. He was also warned not to interfere with the witnesses in the case.

He is to report to the Falmouth Police Station every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m until the matter is disposed of.
