Stewart's Auto Sales launches South Camp Road showroom

Family-operated business Stewart's Auto Sales on Thursday dedicated and unveiled its brand-new Suzuki showroom, stocked with the Suzuki Kizashi, Suzuki Swift Sport and the Suzuki Celero models.

Several distinguished guests and other well-wishers at 491/2 South Camp Road congratulated the Stewarts on their stunning achievements and lauded their company for remaining a truly Jamaican brand since its inception in 1938.

Minister of state in the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Sharon Ffolkes-Abrahams, said "Stewart's Auto Sales is the most modern and dynamic dealership". She also commended the company for their investment in Jamaica and said the opening of the Suzuki showroom signifies a growing confidence in the economy.

In her address, matriarch of the Stewart family, Diana Stewart, took guests down memory lane, regaling them with stories from the company's rich history and charting how it came to be the dynamo it is today. She also said it was the Suzuki dealership which paved the way for other developments within the group of companies.

Justice Minister Mark Golding, who officiated the ribbon-cutting segment of the opening and also brought remarks on behalf of Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller, added his voice to those who trumpeted the success of the Stewarts' initiative. He also noted that the Simpson Miller led administration is committed to having a policy governing the importation of legitimate vehicles.

The new showroom will provide customers with a more comfortable space to view the latest Suzuki vehicles, which are supported by a state-of-the-art parts inventory and servicing facility. This is all at one location, the intention being to provide seamless customer service.
